"I’m delighted to announce that Adelaide Guitar Festival is shifting into new territory for 2024.

With a focussed program between 12 and 15 September in and around Adelaide Festival Centre.  Our activities will extend around the year, with the ever-popular Winter School holiday programs, and our beloved On the Road tours heading to the regions in autumn and spring.

In 2024 we celebrate ten years of our Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra, rehearsing in the July school holidays, then returning for a special 10th anniversary concert during the festival in September. The Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition returns and the audition round is now open.

As the festival develops, we are exploring new formats and partnerships, and seeking out exceptional guitar music from around Australia and across the world. I look forward to sharing more of our program with you in the coming months."
